Only Happy When It Rains
Here in Victoria we have been blessed with LOADS of rain. I like the rain when it comes to comparing it with snow. I hate snow, everything about snow is bad. I never used to hate snow this much, until I moved to Victoria 5 years ago.
When I lived in Campbell River I didn't know how to drive, therefore I LOVED snow, okay I only loved snow when I was inside practically leaning on the wood stove that Dad would make so hot (it was GREAT). Then I moved to Cuba where there is no such thing as snow, and getting used to the humidity was very easy for me. I would rather be hot and sweaty than freezing cold. Then I moved to Ontario, and knew how to drive. The snow there though is very different from the snow here, its dry and manageable to drive in. And when it snows there the snow plows are out asap to keep the roads clear from accidents. HERE on the other hand, the snow is WET and slushy, not to mention more then half of Victoria's population are over 70 and freak out if they slide the slightest bit, causing other people to swirve. Okay its not just the old people.
So while many of you are wishing for the winter to come, its my fault that your prayers have not been answered. I have been working overtime begging for no snow this year, or etleast until I take off to MEXICO for two weeks. Did I mention I only have 20 days to go. YIPPPPPPPPEEEEEEE.

Have fun on your trip :)
I totally know what you mean about snow in Ontario. I used to live there for a year and the cities have a handle on the plowing. Here, there's an inch of snow and the world falls apart.
