One Of A Kind

SICK

Well it seems I have encountered another sinus infection. I got over a hideous one last April, where I almost missed my best friends wedding. It started out as a cold, normal for me (every new season I seem to get a cold, due to climate change) Then I got a sore in my nostril, I tried everything, and nothing seemed to take it away, after a few days I started blowing dark green, this meant INFECTION, and I had serious headache spirts all over my face. I took over the counter sinus drugs, because for me the doctor is a last resort. I kept getting worse, and decided to go to the doctor. My doctor was not there, so I saw another doctor. Not a very nice one, probably cause I was not his patient. He barely looked at me before prescribing me a very common antibiotic for sinus infections. I went and filled my prescription and went to work. Two days later, I noticed a small rash on my arms, now the lady at the drug store said I may get a rash so I ignored it, and went on with my work day. The next day at work I noticed it was worse, plus I had 3 large bumps poking out of my neck. I made an apt for the doc, again my doctor was not there, the mean one was gone, so I saw the last doctor available. He said " OHHH your allergic to the antibiotics" He prescribed me different ones, and said go home and sleep. The next morning, was the worst of it all. It was a sick, red dotted, itchyer then you will ever believe rash that covered my entire body, the 3 bumps turned into 6 bumps on my neck and to top it all off I could barely breath. OFF to the emergency we went. MY mom had asked me on the way to the hospital what the doctor gave me, I told her it was "sulfur something" she nearly dyed, because apparently my cousin Mark took that for a sinus infection and went into cardiac arrest. Im freaking out now. They rushed me in before 4 babies (which I thought was pretty serious, the babies always go first, and this was just after they took my blood pressure they didn't' know about my cousin.) and you know what he said? "You have an allergic ration" DUH!!! Then they gave me a shot of benydril, and said pick some more up tomorrow, take 2 days off work, and you'll be good as new.

So here I am with a box of Kleenex, vicks, niocitron, and a humidifier hoping I don't get worse, because I refuse to go the doctor.
