One Of A Kind

Third Times The Charm (I Hope)

I spent an hour in front of the Wal-Mart photo shop waiting patiently for someone to serve me. I am going on a trip in Novemeber , so I need to get photos taken for a new passport. So there I am listening to the background, which happened to be people devouring Mc Donalds, and the photo lady making baby sounds, so the baby would smile pretty for her picture. Finely she came out, and told me she would be a few more minutes, that ended up being 20 more minutes. By this time a small line had formed behind me. Those people were becoming very angry, for the 20 minute wait, I just kept smiling hoping none of them would budge (or I woulda waited longer). At one point, the father of the baby came out, and told me "You are the most patient person I've ever seen".
Finely it was my turn, 2 shots were taken, the girl said they were great. So I payed and headed home. The next day I left work a little early to head down to get my passport. What I thought would take an hour, took me only 5 minutes to get up to the a teller. He was quite nice, but told me my pictures stunk and that I had to get new ones. So once again I head to Wal-Mart for my free retakes, thinking to myself, theres no way it will take an hour again. It did. The same girl that took my pictures the day before sat me down, and appologized for the wait. She took (no joke) like 20 pictures. They all looked horrible, my face was still super white on one side, and it looked like someone glued bright orange ears on the side of my head. She told me there was something wrong with her camera (I think just to be nice), and that I should come back tomorrow at 10am to get in right away. So today I went for the 3rd time. I think we might have nailed it, but the guy that served me the day before at the passport place wasn't around, so I have to wait till he calls to let me know whether they are good enough to get me outta the country.

If anyone would like a wallet size picture of me with bright orange ears just let me know, I have a dozen to choose from.

I am going on a caribbean cruise in Nov. My cousin is getting married. I am so excited.

Emily, my advice is to go anywhere but Wal-Mart for your picture (They Suck)

Boycott Wal-mart. They will be the downfall of ethical pricing EVERYWHERE.
