My Bigger Sister

I just got off the phone with Ang. (my big sis) I have the best phone conversations with her, I never want to hang up. I could talk to her for hours. Most people know I hate talking on the phone, but when we get on the phone its been 2 hours, but feels like we have so much more to talk about.
I didn't grow up with Ang, she grew up in Manitoba. I grew up in "The Riv" aka Campbell River. I remember when Dad said she was going to be moving in with us. I was so excited. I think I was in grade one. Matt and I were sitting on the back of the couch waiting impatiently for Dad to come home with the big sister we never knew, more importantly the big sister who didn't pick on us. (Thanks Kim) She stayed long enough to never forget how cool she is. I idolized Ang back then, like she idolized Mr. Swazye (did I spell it right)
Then She left. The next time I saw her, she was married to this really cool guy with a big beard.
Then we sorta lost touch for a long time, and we moved to Ontario, and one day Ang phoned out of no where, and she was coming to Ontario, and wanted to come and visit. I remember waiting and being so nervous, cause I hadn't seen her for so long. She came with my first Niece Emily, who was only 2 (Holy crap shes going to be 7)
We had the best time, we promised never to lose touch again, and we certainly didn't.
Love you

It's so awesome that you guys reconnected Krystle. Do you remember the day that you and Matt were out here, and we all sat around in Steve's office and chatted? Ang is an amazing big sister (in-law for me). She's "one of a kind" for sure!

Ooooh, i'm in heaven...
The Swayze pic! I had a huge poster of that shot of him. I think you were in grade 4 when I moved there. Just old enough for me to know that someday we would be very close. Thanks for everything Krys, I love you too.

Nope...grade one, cause we moved to the yellow house when I was in Mrs Ritchie's class, and that was grade 2. I think I know, I idolized you.

Okay That would make me 8, which would mean grade 3? I got confused. I had Mrs Ritchie for 2 and 3. I only remember this because when we moved from the Brown rancher to the yellow house, I was in her class. I still think it was grade two, we need to talk about this some more.

Plus, your birthday being in January makes you one of those confusing (confused?) kids. Grade 2 sounds right to me.

Ang definitely makes phone-haters love the phone. It's her. It's the things she talks about and the way she listens when people speak.
I'm glad you're givin' her props on your blog. You two are both my personal heros.
